It was realized what great scope there was for dramatic productions, and with the help of Mr. Edward P. Genn, a well-known theatrical producer and playwright, a company of Station Repertory Players was formed. Their first play broadcast was on May 15^th and so popular did it prove that Radio Drama became a monthly feature. Several of the plays presented have been specially written for the wireless – some of them by the producer himself.
