OLIVIA: This is my cue for leaving, Rupert

RUPERT: Please don't, Olivia…

OLIVIA: Three's a crowd

CLAUDIA: What's going on?

OLIVIA: I should get back to the office

RUPERT: Claudia would you wait outside please?

CLAUDIA: (SIGHS- SUDDENLY ACTING HER AGE) Okay…. Whatever…

FX: CLAUDIA EXITS…. FOOTSTEPS ON WOODEN FLOOR

RUPERT: Please don't leave Olivia, it's not what you think…

OLIVIA: I don't want to hear it, I'm leaving

RUPERT: Olivia PLEASE!!

OLIVIA: Goodbye Rupert.

FX: OLIVIA EXITS

RUPERT: (PAUSE) What a mess…

CLAUDIA: (SHEEPISHLY) Can I come back in now…

RUPERT: Since when did you need an invite.

CLAUDIA: Didn't you want to see me?

RUPERT: I'm sorry Claudia, of course I did…

CLAUDIA: Well you've been funny with me since I arrived…

RUPERT: It's not that simple….

CLAUDIA: I just wanted to surprise you that's all, I'm starting my gap year now, I won't see you for six months!

RUPERT: That was Olivia, it's her birthday, I was hoping for a special meal, just the two of us…

CLAUDIA: She's just a work colleague isn't she?

RUPERT: Well, yes, she is…

CLAUDIA: Then what's all the fuss about?

RUPERT: Claudia, I like this woman… A lot.

CLAUDIA: Oh my God… of course

RUPERT: I've never connected with a woman before like I do with her. You know what I'm like, flitting from one woman to the next…. Always settling for just quite liking someone…

CLAUDIA: But this Olivia…

RUPERT: She's different… I feel so… comfortable with her. I think she's amazing.

CLAUDIA: … and in bounces you're insensitive niece to ruin your romantic meal… Uncle Rupert I'm so sorry!

RUPERT: It's done now…

CLAUDIA: And she thinks that we are…. Eeeuw! You have to call her! Now!

RUPERT: What if I've blown it Claud…

INT. OFFICE. JACK IS TALKING TO COLIN ABOUT COMPANY DEVELOPMENTS

COLIN: Jack, what are you grinning about?
JACK: I've just had a bit of good news…

COLIN: Oh yeah? Who is she…

JACK: It's not about a woman

COLIN: Not another one of your schemes Jack.

JACK: (MOCK-OFFENSE) Colin, I'm hurt…

COLIN: (LAUGHS) Alright, I'm listening.

JACK: I've just been on the phone to the producer of Loveday's film, it's all looking good, Richard's talking big things for us apparently…

COLIN: Oh yeah? What's happened?

JACK: Producer says the film's a sure hit, and when Olivia finally gets back from wherever her and Rupert are, Richard wants a word…. Sounds promising!

INT. THE LOCATIONS OFFICE. OLIVIA ARRIVES IN HER OFFICE

FX: PHONE RINGING

OLIVIA: (CALLING BACK TO JACK) Alright jack! I'll call him later

FX: PICKS UP RECIEVER

Hello? Rupert… I don't really want to talk about it… Look, if you're not calling about business then I don't want to talk to you…
Goodbye Rupert.

FX: REPLACES PHONE.

PAUSE. OLIVIA SIGHS

FX: OLIVIA PICKS UP RECIEVER AND DIALS

OLIVIA: Hi mom it's me…. I know I'm sorry, I've been kind of busy… No nothing's wrong I just thought I'd call! How are you? … Yeah? ... (FADE OUT)
