COLIN: Yeah I got ya a lawyer
JACK: Where is he?
COLIN: You're looking at him
JACK: YOU!? A fat lot of good you'll be. You don't know the first thing about law
COLIN: There's appreciation for you. I know more than you think. I took a wild module in my first year at Uni in International law
JACK: (Sarcastic) Well isn't that swell! Twelve weeks of solid training is the requirement these days eh?
COLIN: Look Jack, be grateful Olivia sent anyone to bail your ass out of this one. The company don't have the spare cash to spend on swanky lawyers (need an American slang term for lawyers). (Stalling) Besides, If Olivia had sent anyone else in the first place, if she had sent
JACK: (Annoyed) Go on say it! If Olivia had sent you none of this mess would have happened. Isn't that what your tryin trying to say Colin? (Angry) So go on just spit it out
COLIN: I don't wanna fight you Jack. I'm for you, not against you. But I need to know the truth. Did you kill him?
JACK: (Surprised) No, of course I didn't kill him! Me - A murderer?
COLIN: Alright, calm down. So what really happened?
JACK: (Beaten) What's the point? I don't stand a chance
COLIN: I am your only chance
JACK: I was framed
COLIN: By whom?
JACK: I dunno. Could be Maggie - she lied to the police to save herself
COLIN: Whose Maggie?
JACK: Steinburg's wife
COLIN: Do you think she killed him?
JACK: Impossible. She spent the entire night with me
COLIN: She what? Colin you gotta be kidding me? I was only joking about you and his wife. You didn't have to take it literally
JACK: Steinburg sent me to her trailer - She seduced me
COLIN: Margaret DuBois seduced you?
JACK: You haven't met her. She's something else
COLIN: And?
JACK: I left at 6.00 in the morning. No one saw, only the janitor but for a split second.
COLIN: What has the detective told you?
JACK: That the investigation is over - they've charged me
COLIN: Well maybe I should have a little investigation of my own
JACK: Col, please don't let them
COLIN: I'll do my best Jack
